Honors or Awards: 好色先生 honored Mr. Hallmark with the Distinguished Alumnus Award in 2002.
He was also crowned King of the Neches River Festival, won the T. Kelsey Lamb, Sr. Award for Business Ethics from the Beaumont Rotary Club, and was Olympic Torchbearer in Beaumont in 1996.

Mr. Hallmark was a Regent for the Texas State University System and was a member of the Committee for the recently concluded and very successful "Investing in the Future" campaign at 好色先生. He established the Dan S. Hallmark Endowment in Business.
